Once the wedding planning started i knew i wanted a female hindu priest. I had never heard of a female priest and anyone i spoke about it thought i was mad, but i was not going to give up and after months of searching i came across Chanda Vyas and straight away i knew i had to have her perform my ceremony. Chanda performed our ceremony will such passion, she explained every part of the ceremony in English with such deep knowledge of the meaning behind every tradition and created a great atmosphere which involved the whole wedding party. My guests still praise her and the ceremony six months later! She was born to do this and made my hindu ceremony one to remember! Chanda Vyas performed the religious ceremony for a Havan at my parent's house commemorating my cousin Neelam Visana. I had never heard of a female Brahman priest until a friend passed her number onto me so I was rather intrigued.

Any religious ceremony is something very close to the heart and Chanda performed a very peaceful ceremony with the utmost respect and understanding for the family involved. Chanda stayed true to the essence of the ceremony and was very explanatory throughout in English and Gujarati. Chanda is very professional and accommodating and brings a sense of calm and peace as soon as you meet her. Thank you Chanda, it was a very beautiful and peaceful puja for my cousin, exactly what he would have wanted.

Chanda was recommended to us by the National Council of Hindu Temples and since then she has been absolutely fantastic. She listened to our every word and worked alongside us to give us a brilliant ceremony where she explained every aspect of the ceremony to the congregation and made it fun. Our congregation was multinational and her effortless way to explain everything in English and Gujarati kept everyone informed. We had many of our Indian guests telling us that this was the first time they fully understood the significance of the various aspects of the wedding ceremony!

We felt truly blessed when we found out that Chanda Ben was going to be able to conduct our wedding ceremony. Before the ceremony she talked us through how she would conduct the ceremony with genuine care and detail. We were very impressed with her knowledge and care for us as a couple as were our parents. On the day itself the ceremony was done supremely and all our guests commented on how special it was. We are eternally grateful for this lasting memory that Chanda Ben has given us and are indeed very proud we can call her our Priest.
